Program C:\program files\roxio\VideoUI 9\VideoWave9.exe

As I surfed, I found another topic with the same problem saying I should go to kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Photosuite/000110CR
which I did and all all the Roxio services were already checed...I undid them and rechecked them again but the problem is still hanging.
Can anyone help me ?

I had number of these errors with Sonic and Roxio EMC9.
I had uninstalled both. Everything. Cleaned registry and issues using CC Cleaner. Uninstalled IE7 (this was the culprit) rolling back to IE6.
Reinstalled EMC9 first and IE7 afterwards. All works OK now.

Personally I'd have left IE7 in the recycle bin - it is very problematic, not to mention very non-compliant as a browser. There are websites that just won't open if you try to use it on them. I like tabbed browsing - so I use Firefox which is fully W3C compliant

I have the exact same problem. My card is ATI AIW 9000 and I use IE7.
I tried to get online support from Roxio and just shoved me off here !!! You know what, in the not far future, they will have a case study at Harvard Business School : "How roxio went under because they didn't care about their unhappy customers".

1: Go to the CARD MAKER's website. download and install the LATEST drivers for video - uninstall the old ones COMPLETELY first
2: Go to Microsoft, download and install the LATEST DirectX 9.0c (the Feb release is there)
3: GET RID OF IE 7 and WMP 11

Nope, no fix. It's easier to get rid of EMC than to get rid of half of my other software.
ATI DO NOT recommand to use their latest driver on older cards like AIW 9000. We have to use v6.2
If I have to change my hardware or get a new PC just to get myDVD running, guess what...

But - did you follow the other instructions?
Also, did you try forcing the rendering to software instead of hardware?

Get rid of IE 7, or you probably won't get it to work. That Radeon may not be up to the task for this software, but try it in software rendering mode. It may work for you.

Try it in software render mode. In MyDVD, click on Tools, then on Options, then click on Software.

Also, what memory is on the graphics card? (I'm slightly concerned seeing it's PCI and not AGP)

First of all, check here
Also, run msconfig and uncheck RoxWatch9 in the startup section, reboot and tell the pop-up to go away and don't ask you again.
Roxwatch is the program that runs Media Watch (a bit of a resource hog anyway)

Did both and nothing changes...samer error message appears...
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The main problem is when want to divide the sequences in chapters, when I save the file, want to work again on the file and then the error window pops up...

To be more serious, that is a pain in the a... Just make all the effort to create many chapters with the granularity of z frame...save all this and not being able to recover the work done...
