A completely standard setup for Toast Titan. 8. I can successfully get recordings from my Tivo onto the Mac.
However, transer to an iPod cannot be done. To do so, one needs to start the Media Browser...it starts just fine but every time the Media Browser is set to Tivo recordings, Toast quits with an error message. The error messages read: "Exception:Exc_Bad_Address (0x0001); Codes:Kern_invalid_ID_address".

Email messages to Roxio sent 3 weeks ago have never been returned except for automatically generated messages. The only reason I bought the product was to download Tivo recordings to an iPod....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

This happens if the Tivo recordings folder is on an external drive, or if a custom icon has been used on the Tivo folder.

You can change the location of the TiVo transfered recordings folder in the TiVo Transfer application Preferenes. By default it stores to the same hard drive as the transfer application is running on, but it can be changed.

This is a known bug that will be resolved in the next Toast 8 update.

Hi Stan

We did reply to your webticket submission on 02/05 and this was not an automated message.

I also believe that this issue will be resolved in an updater which will be released in the near future.

Thanks!
