I've been using the sound editor and the music disc creator programs with no trouble. Now, suddenly, when i tried to open music disc creator all I got was the splash screen for it. I then tried to open EMC8 and a box flashed by saying something about needing to configure EMC8 please insert the disc. I did and a box with the following message  popped up "a network error occurred while attempting to read from the file F:\9b4ed33.msi". When I tried to close or cancel this box it just keeps popping back up. Can someone help me with this?

Try the third post down in this thread for Music Disc Creator.  Print it off and keep it handy.  This usually happens when I shut down the program before it wants to be -- happens to be about once every two months.

Reboot and see if you still have the same problem.  Try using Windows Add Remove programs and do a repair.

Have you installed WMP 11 and or IE7?  Roll that back to WMP 10 and IE 6.  Usually IE 7 is not a problem but WMP 11 is..

Thanks for the help. It looked familiar. I had the same problem back on 12/17/06 and I was told to do this back then. It worked. This time I printed the instructions and added them to my note book. BTW I'm using IE 6 and WMP 10.
