Is it possible to back up over a local network. I have a lot of stuff stored on one computer, but only have easy media crater 9 on one computer, so can be done thanks in advance. Michelle

What you could try is moving the data from the other machines to the one where the program is and burning it from there

In storage capacity, how much is "lots of stuff", missnz ? There are several ways of moving the files from one computer to another so you can back up that information.

You can use the network as a backup if you use an application like second copy or somthing similer, but not with EMC9 sorry

It may be that you have a drive on a networked machine mounted in Windows. That could work but the other machine will need to be on and the drive mounted.
I've done that in Linux - never tried it in Windows tho
