After upgrading from 7 to 8 I discovered that vrs. 8 was NOT backwards compatible with vrs. 7 dmsm files.
Consequently I went back to vrs. 7 which has the added benefit that VideoWave actually runs faster for me.
Upgrades keep coming fast and furious and the endresult appears to be that changes are made for the sake of bringing an upgrade to market rather than just improving on the previous version. I don't want to figure out how to do stuff from scratch again and I want an upgrade to be backwards campatible with existing files.

My question then is:
Is vrs. 9 intuitive to someone who has learned vrs. 7 and 8?
Is vrs. 9 backwards compatible with all files created in 7 or 8?
Has anything been done to improve performance in the latest version? :)
