I installed a BenQ 1655 burner and was attempting to capture a DVD video on my PC, and then burn a new DVD. I don't know if I did it correctly, but here is what I did, and what happened. When it asked for what type of format I wanted to capture it in I picked DIVX, instead of MPEG, etc. I wasn't sure if that was the correct choice. Media Creator began to capture the video at 1x and took over an hour to do it. Shouldn't it have captured it at a faster rate? I thought it would have read it at 8x or faster. When I finally captured the video, I selected My DVD in which to burn the DVD. I was using a Verbatim 16x blank DVD. When it asked the source of the video, I used the Browse button and pulled up the My Videos folder. However, when I clicked on the My Videos folder, the folder would not open up. So, I cannot access the video in order to attmpt to burn it. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not really the best choice if you were going to create another disc. DVDs are MPEG. The reason it took so long was because the video had to be converted at the same time.

Not sure about the second question because you should be able to add a DivX file to a MyDVD project.

Were you just copying the disc or trying to add a menu? Not clear as to what you were trying to do. If you just wanted to make a copy, then use Disc Copier.

Thanks!! You are correct. It is simple if you just know what you are doing. Your help was greatly appreciated! One more quick question: If I want to copy 2 dvds onto one dual dvd, would I then use the Compilation menu?
