Ezcdcr 6 Won't Detect Drive

The program doesn't detect my Sony DVD recorder drive anymore. I've uninstalled both the DVD driver & the ATAPI controller then rebooted. The drive has the original firmware & worked 2 weeks ago when I burned some DVD's. In other words there is no default recorder listed in Roxio. I have "enable recording on this drive" turned off in Windows. How can I fix this?

Have you added or updated any software that is capable of burning? Programs like Windows Media Player, Nero, iTunes, etc?
