Does anyone know if you can convert video files to MPEG-4 or H.264 file formats?  I would like to convert some home movies taken from my digital camera / camcorder so that I can put them on my iPod.

Thanks.

Several other users have asked the same question.  Videowave supports Microsoft's MPEG4 codec using the AVI extension. It does not yet support the MP4 or H.264 formats.

Mpeg Stream from Squared5.com

Free Open Source convert/import/export to H.264, Mpeg4, mov, avi, dv, etc.

Also, use FireFox instead of IE  :-)

Sorry the following is from V9; I'm not sure that is available in V8. The more I think about it the more I don't think it is.

Disc copier can do both in the compilation mode.

If you were from the area, it would be "Go Stilers"
