Has anyone been able to make a slideshow fit to audio? I've not been able to sync the slideshow and the audio to end at the same time. Any suggestions?
Thanks

At the top of the screen, click on Production, then click on Fit Video and Audio. Piece of cake.

Did you figure out how to do this? I have the same problem, the piece of cake answer given doesn't work for me. It cuts the music off to make it fit rather than expanding the slide show to fit the music. To get around this, I used Sound editor and clipped a little off the end of the song and faded it out. This reduced the song by about 11 seconds, then I manually went in and expanded the durations of the slides. Shouldn't have to do this, but it seems to be the EMC way to go around your elbow to get to your ...

Yes. Using Video Wave to create the slideshow, insert the audio, fit the slides to the audio and then importing them into MyDVD worked for me. After adding photos and background audio, choosing the "Fit Audio & Video" option under the Production menu. It should pop up a window listing the Duration of the video/images and audio and telling you the duration of each slide. I was trying to use MyDVD to create the slideshows and insert/fit the audio. This worked on previous versions of MyDVD and I'm puzzled why it doesn't work now. If it doesn't work, why is it an option?
Anyway, thanks grandpabruce.

Anyway, thanks grandpabruce.
I don't know. I always use VideoWave for my productions and have never tried using MyDVD for a production.
I don't have EMC 8 on my computer, so I can't try it. I have EMC 9 on mine.
