I've tried like fifty times to fix this, but I can't. I'm trying to drag a big Video_TS folder into the window so I can burn it to a DVD-R, but it says that it can't be compressed for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using the most recent Toast 7.

Can't Drop Video_ts To Dvd Window Says Video_TS folder cannot be compressed

What is the source for the VIDEO_TS folder? If it is ripped from a commercial DVD you must do a full disc extraction in order for it to work with Toast's fit-to-DVD. If it was created by iDVD then it probably can't be compressed to fit a single-layer DVD because the PCM audio used by iDVD is taking up too much of the DVD's space, leaving too little room for the video. Those are the only situations I'm aware of where the fit-to-DVD feature doesn't work. What exactly is the error you receive?
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
