I have a lot of old backup data projects with an rcl extension used in EMC 7.5. Can I use these in EMC 9?. So far, EMC 9 doesn't recognize the file extension.

You would need to re-install EMC 7.5 to access these - so long as you don't have D2D installed both suites should co-exist
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Thanks for the help. It's probably not worth the trouble or disk space. I will just start anew. It's not too big a deal. I have a lot of photos dumped to DVD for backup but don't have too many projects to duplicate. I will start doing it in EMC 9.

PS: D2D doesn't work at present in Win Vista. I'm waiting for an update on that.

Personally I'd remove D2D in any system - it's as reliable as an igloo in the Sahara for backup or storage putrposes. A very good way to lose all your data if you rely on it
