I just purchased this product and I'm running XP with a AMD sempron process. 512MB mem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this program three times and every time I start it I get a blue screen (MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION) 0X0000009C (0X00000004,0X805445FF0,0XB2000000,0X00070F0F)
I've tried the memory suggestions in the bios this screen suggests (disable cache and shadowing to no avail.) No other burning software is installed. I've tried running with most everything else closed -no go
??????????????????????????????????????????
Easy DVD Copy2 crashes every startup

You didn't give your processor speed, or the amount of Hard Drive space available - how fast, and how much? Also, the details on your Video Card.

What are you trying to copy? Almost all commercial discs have DRM protection and this program will not break that protection.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I can't even get to that point. I double click on the shortcut, the program comes up for a few seconds then goes to formentioned screen. This is a two month old machine running at 1.8 with a Geforce 6600 video card. No problems with anything until I loaded this software.

Are you using Internet Explorer 7 or Media Player 11? If so, try removing them and see if the program will work
I can't be too certain about DVD Copy as it isn't part of the EMC suite (well it's not listed as such in any of the modules) but IE7 could be a culprit here (it is in other Roxio apps)

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
