I'm new to using Creator 9 so forgive my naivete.

Every time I start DVD Creator I get a message advising that my video driver may be out of date. I'm running a Dell 4700 with the on board video card (Intel 82915G/GV/910GL). When I access Intel and locate the driver for this card I find a recent update down loadable as either an exe file or as a Zip file. Have tried both ways. Shortly after beginning the install process I get a message that " the driver is not valid for this computer-- set-up exited. Have checked the system settings and the video card seems to be accurate. Any Suggestions?

Did you use the PC's Service Tag id so that you get to the site appropriate for your PC brand/model?

Even if you do get an updated driver for that graphics set you may still find that it's not quite enough to do the job. If that is the case, you will have to use software rendering and lose out onm some of the transitions that are normally available
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

jack1012,

We have the same chipset. And that supports Software mode only (using the graphics test).

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Your suggestion was right on. Dell had an updated driver

Glad it's working but keep in mind that you will only be able to use software rendering with that chipset. To get all the transitions you need hardware remdering and the only way you will achieve that is to install a new dedicated graphics card in place of the onboard one

Help blink.gif I have a 128 Radeon 300/500 graphics card and have the latest update 2-07-07 but still having problems. Is this a dedicated graphics card??? Roxio has been trying to help me by phone and little by little we are making progress but still have not completed a successful video burn! One finally went clear through but only the audio played. The next one had error code 8004520c.

The tech guy told me to save the whole thing as an image file and then burn to see what happens. Is supposed to e-mail me some kind of PM or something update but have not received it yet...usually things come through fast (over 2 hours now).

Any ideas from anyone? Also, how do I find this exact site again to see if anyone has any ideas??

Learning but still somewhat a dummy!
