[Boron]

I switched from an Ibook(G3), using Toast 6 and Spin Doctor 2, to a G4 Ibook. About 30% of the time when I apply a noise filter severe noise appears in the filtered file. If I try it again the introduced noise appears in different places. The noise is many times larger than the largest music wave and lasts for about 5 seconds.

I went back to the G3 and it did not occur.

I would upgrade but would like to know this would solve the problem.
