Hi;
I have EMC 9 deluxe, however, I use 7.5 version for creating slideshow on dvd. EMC 9 does not give me flexibility to have different menu backgroud as 7.5. Or, may be I don't know how to on EMC 9 version MYDVD.
Is it possible to check format (NTSC or PAL) on created dvd after dvd is burned?
Also, can I copy NTSC formated dvd into PAL format or vice versa by first creating image file and then go to video compilation to burn the image into PAL format?
Thanks.

To check the TV standard you'd really need to play it on a player and TV that supports the standard required, but basically, if you play a European formatted disc in a NTSC player, if it works at all, you will get distorted sound and bad line and frame hold and vice versa.
To render for both, you need to do it twice from the original source file - once in the 'NTSC' format and again in 'PAL' , saving both files to iso - then you can write them to DVD. It's not possible with the program to convert a DVD from one standard to the other

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

In MYDVD, there are several predefined menu styles to choose from. Just click "Change Menu Styles". If you want to set your own background, click the menu background and select "Edit Menu background".
