Problems Transcoding Fox's 24 From Dvr-ms

Am I the only one out there with this problem?
I record the Fox program 24 in HD with Media Center 2005. When I use DVD express or any other Roxio program to access the show, it hangs at about 40% complete in the transcoding process. The computer is not locked up or frozen, nor is the software. It just stops, dead cold.

If I take other programs recorded in HD with Media Center 2005 they are fine. The Roxio software will transcode and burn the disk.

Any help out there? Can anyone duplicate this?
