1. System freezes on Install Wizard Window (EMC9)- 1st window, when you start installation. My system - New DELL XPS 410 WinXP Home, EE v.6 (No preinstalled Roxio programs, No sonic player. Only Sonic Encoders for Win Media.) It installs fine on laptop and starts on another system. 2. EMC8 installs fine and works fine, BUT My DVD/Cd writer stop recognize ANY DVD/CD disk and system freezes when I insert disk. 3. And LAST, after Install EMC 7,5 - everything is fine!? Please! can somebody explain or help?

Can you give us some info on the computyer specs - hard drive, free space, RAM, graphics, etc
Also, have you updated the video drivers to the latest from the makers (ATI or nVidia or whoever) and also if you installed DirectX 9.0c. Again, do you have any other CD authoring s/w (Nero InCD, Daemon Tools and so on)?

Works FINE - I jast reinstall WINDOWS
