Tvichw Driver open Error

HOW DO YOU GET RID OF AN ERROR MESSAGE TVICHW32 DRIVER OPEN ERROR CANNOT LOAD ASPI LAYER DRIVER AM USING XP PROFESIONAL & EMC 9

That doesn't look like any Roxio/Sonic error message - are you running a TV card/program/capture device or something?

TVICHW32 is a general purpose device driver

http://www.entechtaiwan.com/dev/hw32/index.shtm

it was probably installed to drive a card or other hardware device.

If you know which device it belongs to, you could try uninstalling, reinstalling.
There may also be a corresponding service, if so you could check in services applet, to see if it can be started from there.

If the message also mentions something about ASPI layer, maybe the links in
