Are these divx movies? Right click the file and go to properties and then go to the Advanced tab and see what they are.
If these are xvid or some other format, you may not have the right codecs for them. That opens up another can of worms as it seems like you are very unfamiliar with these types of files and I'm reluctant to make some suggestions unless you have someone a bit more knowledgeable to help you. But first, we have to find out exactly what the problem is.
There is a niftly free program called Gspot with which you can import one of these files and it will tell you what type of file it is and what codecs it needs to run on your system and most important, it will tell you if you have the codecs on your system to play these files. See if you can download it and give it a try.

I wish I could see what this looks like. Are all your video drivers up to date? Do you have the latest DirectX version? I'm not sure what the problem is. It could be an interlacing problem too.

Please post your computer specs. If you don't know them, download and run Belarc Advisor. It will tell you everything you want to know about your computer. Look at other's signatures and put that information in your signature. Use the My Controls at the top of the page and then look to the left to edit signature. It will show up in all your posts.

Just to check, are you running Easy Media creator V9 or something that came with your computer?

Are you doing anything with Hi Def? Where did you get the videos? Are they commercially produced that may have DRM protection? If so, that may be your problem.

Where are you located? That 25 frames per second is definitely outside the US since it is "PAL" color encoding system.

Use Belarc Advisor (link above) to determine what you have. Look at some of the other signatures and post that type of information. Don't post all of the information that you get from Belarc. Post things like pocessor speed, video card/chip (especially that), hard drive free space, operating system (XP home or pro or Vista). If you have a standard computer with no add ons, you can post the manufacturer and model..

Could the problem be that you are using PAL files and trying to watch them on an NTSC machine? In MYDVD make sure under the project settings in the left panel that you have NTSC checked instead of PAL.

Please your video card/chip information or the model number of your computer.

So you have avi files that are PAL and want to convert and burn the files to US NTSC. Or vice versa? Are you trying to play those files on a US DVD player? It won't play them well. There are some players that will play both but I think you may have to tell them PAL or NTSC.

When you went to burn the AVI files, did you burn them as PAL ?

The model is HP Pavilion a1530n.
I have DVD player which perfectly plays PAL and NTSC.
I have many DVDs in PAL and i watch them on TV here and they are fine.
When i try to burn my movies Output is always NTSC,i think that maybe i need to change burning speed or something like that, but i dont know right settings... sad.gif
