I am brand new to Roxio EMC9 having been a Nero user for years, but I really liked the feature set offered in EMC9, especially with Roxio advertising being able to output picture slideshows to HD DVD.

This being said, I just created my first slideshow in VideoWave and noticed there was an option for 16:9 which I checked; however, it created the DVD in standard resolution at 720x480 when I want to output at 1920x1080, how do I output my slideshows to high resolution HD?

Well you got the first step correct. The Videowave project must be 16:9. Once you are finished editing, click on the OUTPUT TO FILE option. In the MAKE MOVIE dialog box, click the drop down list and choose one of the high definition outputs.

--oops -- I missed the DivX HD 720p in the middle of that list.
