I purchase a HP comptuer from CompUSA a couple of weeks ago.  We have burned less that 10 Music CD's and everything was working fine.  Then the system could not see the DVD/CD drive anymore.  I got that fixed using Microsoft KB 320553, Lowerfilters and Upperfilters.  Now when I start up Creator it says No Drive Detected.  Anyone know how to fix this>

Try downloading and installing this (pxengine)

http://patches.sonic.com/PX/pxengine1_08_34a.exe

Let us know if it works

smile.gif  I'm not the original poster, but I had the exact same problem. HP said go to Roxio, get the CD code and SN, and reinstall. I went all over Roxio's site and never found the info in my account, even though it showed the registration. I used your link, and less than 5 minutes, I'm working again. With a very limited laptop HD space, I rely on my CD recorder to keep unused files and backups.
Thanks for the help.
BTW All I ever got from "Ask Roxann" was a link to buy the software.

The joke is really that HP modify the software and they're supposed to handle all problems (but they never do and pass it back over and no-one here actually knows just what they did with the OEM version)
