MyDVd 9 shutsdown when i add transitions to my photos in my video project. Every thing else works fine but this is a frequent problem. As soon as i add transitions this message comes up "Video wave 9 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Computer specs including your video card/chips? Does you video card have the latest drivers and have you updated to the latest version of DirectX 9c.

Open VideoWave and go to the top menu. Select tools then options and run the Graphics test. Is the dot near software after the test? If so, you can use only the transitions that you see in that mode. Trying to change to Hardware mode and using those transitions will lock up your computer.

If you have a standard card, update the drivers and then you can try to change the performance to best performance and away for appearance using the control panel for your card. That may help but some chips/cards are just not up to this program.
