I have a new Windows Vista computer and EMC9. I could not get slideshows to play on my DVR without skipping pictures on playback (even after trying the suggestions I found from previous users' questions) so I made my slideshows in Adobe Elements 3.0 and exported as .avi files. I them imported four different .avi files into EMC9 (My DVD). Worked great on review inside the program. I burned the project to DVD and when I played it in my DVD player, the menu did not appear. The first movie/slideshow just started playing. I tried to get the menu to come up by pressing the "Menu" button on the DVD player remote--did not work. In addition to that problem, the video portion of the movie/slideshow plays at super fast speed, but the audio plays at the correct speed. Any suggestions? Thanks. (I have an E6400 system with NVIDIA GeForce 7500 LE graphics card.)

No, I never did get a response. What I did get is a new computer. I couldn't get the DVD burner in that new HP to work right with any programs. I took it back and got a new Dell, with a faster processor and better video card, and everything works fine now. I can make slide shows inside MyDVD or make them in Premiere and import the AVI file. Even burned a DVD with a mix of the two.
