first you tell me what the problem could be? ive used xp for years so i have an idea how good xp is, yes vista is good once you know what your doing on it, however the piont is roxio says media 9 works on vista and i'm having trouble with the mydvd9 section of it, as i mentioned before, i'm not getting into debating about which windows is better, everyone can decide that for themselves, and ive had roxio crashes on xp also, it seems to load better on vista and much quicker but that doesn't count for the problem i'm having, is there an update for this media 9 problem with vista? or are you familiar with this problem, your last comment didn't even acknowledge a responce to my problem, much appreciate any help you can give thanks.

There is supposed to be a patch coming out soon. I don't know when, though.

There aren't that many users here yet that are running Vista, and for those that are, I haven't seen this type of problem posted before. So you may not get much help here other than some of the standard suggestions, like updating your video card, shutting down other processes or programs that may be conflicting.

EMC 9 works fine on my Vista test system. All I've done after install is to remove Drag to Disc. I found encoding to be a bit faster but it's a little faster system as well. I've not used every module yet but the ones I've have, worked as expected.
You don't post your system specs which might help us but I assume it meets both EMC 9 and Vista specs.
