Hi all,

Just purchased EMC 9 as an upgrade from 8 when I moved to vista. Everything works great with one exception. When I try to use cineplayer and the MEDIA EXPERIENCE comes up the whole screen flickers and the text disapears and such as I mouse over it.

I have tried different versions of the NVIDIA 8800 series drivers for Vista and that does not relieve my problem. I have even tried a clean install of both Vista and RMC with no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Still seems like a driver issue and it's obvious they're still working on perfecting the drivers. Is is any better in another screen resolution?

No its not, I guess I will just have to ride this one out until a fix is available.

I would say you may need to wait for a fix. Vista includes DirectX 10 and you have a video card that supports that, but EMC was written for DirectX 9. Just 'how' backward compatible the APIs are only Microsoft knows.. LOL

Wonder if Microsoft will ever release DirectX 10 for Windows XP?

Everything I have read there will be no DX10 for XP. Everyone will eventually have to make the Vista plunge...
