I'm still relatively new at using this software, but have successfully burned several DVDs that work in two different Sony players, and two different Toshiba players.  None of the DVDs I've burned (all with menu's) will respond to the remote controls (up, down, left, right, enter or play) on my primary recorder/player an LG DR1F9H.  I've tried a variety of disk types with no success.

I've searched without result. Any help would be appreciated

If they work in all those players, you've done it right.  Check the docs for the LG player and see what type of disc is recommended.  You can also try burning at a slower speed and see if that helps and sometimes, even encoding to an ISO first then burning to disc helps.  And then sometimes, players just don't like homemade discs.  I got rid of a player because it always choked on my dvd's no matter what brand, what drive I burned it on or how I burned it.  Though, sometimes after I cleaned it, it seemed to work a bit better.
