When I open "create ringtones" under the audio menu, I get this error message:

Cannot find
"http://www.xingtone.com/vindauga/dynamic.cgi?partner=roxio&mobile=xxxxxxxxxxx&carrier=2&handset=87&upload=no&platform=win&version=4.2.19&coun=us&serial=rn681002adhs0030&email=xxxxxxx@xxl.xxx'. Make sure the path or internet address is correct

How can I correct this?

Thank you
George A.

I checked that link and it worked fine for me - do you have any pop-up blockers running?

btw - I suggest you edit and delete it because it takes me into your account

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

Chill out Msgig, it wasn't a seedy reply but a helpful tip since the error message does contains personal information.

I am having the same problem with my Xingtone. the error message is coming from within the Xintone program, not IE, so I don't see how a blockup popper would affect it.

ANy more help or ideas would be apprectiated

Looks like Malatekid took care of your cell & email in the first post.

I emailed xingtone and got a very quick response yesterday (I was impressed). they basically said if its not a firewall issue (which it wasn't) to delete and reinstall the program. They gave me a link (see below) to the latest version which is a trial version but would become a full version upon re-entering the serial number with the cell number. That all worked for me and I no longer get the error message like yours.

I still am constantly getting a "server busy.. try again later" message when I try to send a ringtone, which is frustrating because its early on a Sunday morning and it just shouldn't be that busy or hard to send a ringtone. I am thinking the problem must now lie on thier end because there is nothing else to change here.

Hope this will help you with your error message.

I masked the cell phone number and the email address.
