I am trying to install creator 9. Creator 9 is telling me i must uninstall ibm dla. Why? Since i have no idea what ibm dla does i am afraid to remove it. ibm help says if i do remove it i may not be able to burn a cd. That kind of defeats the purpose of my buying creator 9.
Thanks for any help you can offer. Jack

DLA is packet writing software, and you can only have one on your computer. EMC 9 installs Drag to Disc, and there is no option not to install it, so uninstall ibm DLA.
After EMC 9 is up and running, I would uninstall Drag to Disc, too. It shows up as a separate entry in Add/Remove Programs.
Packet writing software is good for immediate transfer of data from one computer to another. It is a poor choice for backing up important data.
Life is good!
