Read the specs on your video card. That could be OUTPUT only. Some video cards have SVideo for gamers to watch the game they are playing on a TV.

You didn't ask a question about the graphics card. You asked about the S-video cable. Had you asked about the graphics card, or the video camera, we would have told you to go to the manufacturer's site to find out, or better yet, read the manual.

Based on this pdf brochure page, the s-video is out only. (note the link opens a PDF file page)

I found by simply googling your card and got to the main sapphire page for that card then started looking at the info in it's links. Searching the internet is the easiest way to find answers like this.

"i have a saphire radeon 9550 , 256mb ddr memory "

Not sure of the exact model of card that is shown in your post Larry, as all of theat tech specs shows 128MB as opposed to the OP's 256MB card. I don't thhink that would have anything to do with the S-video opeartion on either card however. Some time ago on an older computer I had, there was an S-video port on the video card and it too was just TV OUT also.

"Hi could someone tell me where i could get a s-video cable where it has the conections on both sides"

Bruce is correct that in your original post, you only asked where you could get an S-Video cable. Did you ever get one ???? My suggestion is the same as Bruce's reply. Get out your manual and see what it says or get support from the video card manufacturer.

It was just one of the top Google hits I got for Sapphire 9550. I don't think the memory specs matter at all. In any case, I doubt very much that the s-video on his card is anything but output.
