I recently upgraded from v7.3 to 9 and now have this pesky system tray icon wanting to watch/manage stuff for me. I turned off the only autorun setting I could find but it still appears in my system tray with a red X thru it. I occassionally burn or copy a CD so do I really need this thing hanging around?
Thanks
RecordNow 9 Music Lab always watching in tray!

Sounds like you only stopped watching folders and haven't stopped the application.Go to Start,Run and type msconfig. When it comes up go to the Startup tab. You'll be looking for something like RoxWatchTray or something similar.I'm not sure because I don't have Record Now,I use EMC9.The resolution should be the same though.Once you find it,uncheck it and reboot. On the next boot this will stop the program from starting automatically.
