Hi group,

I would like to know if I upgrade to EMC 9, is there a way to use overlays and effects from EMC 7.5?

I would like to upgrade but I like the Fire works, filmstrip and stars overlays and I like search lights, black rectangle frame, black oval frame, pink oval fram, etc. in 7.5?

If I upgrade is there a plug in with overlays and effects that can give me the EMC 7.5 overlays and effects?

Nope, afraid not. They are not interchangeable between the 2 versions. You can keep both 7 and 9 on your pc (except for drag to disc of course), so when you want to use tehm, just do that part of your project in v 7 and output it to a video file.

I will do it the way you suggest. But I was hoping there was an easier and smoother way.

Yeah, it's too bad. There are some nice transitions in 7 that are only in that version. Good Luck burning.
