[font=Comic Sans Ms] Hope I get some advice here. I have been a faithful Roxio customer for years. When I first installed emc9 in my new machine I couldn't wait. It worked well and any problems I was able to fix buy surfing these boards. You guys have been more help than you know. Anyway, I started having issues a few weeks ago. in videowave or any media manager process I can only see tiles with an hour glass and no image. If I try to open a video or photo the program hangs. At first running Disk Cleanup and defragging worked but then nothing would. I went for a clean uninstall and reinstall using methods from the boards and hand walked through the worst by live chat. I finnally got emc9 reinstalled and it is doing the same thing. I am going out of my mind. I am thinking some program of mine is interfering. I shut down antivirus software and do everything by the book to make a vidoe and to no avail. Help.

That is frustrating!

How about other programs in the Suite? Classic? Disc Copier? PhotoSuite?

Are you starting them from the Home application or directly through the Start – All Programs – Roxio~~~? (the latter is the preferred method).

These files are jpg's and mpg's, correct?

Thanks for the reply,
I am not having any problems with Suite, Classic, Disc Copier or PhotoSuite. I almost never use the home application I find it faster to open through Start. I try to keep as many background programs from running as I can. My video files are avi and yes photos are jpeg. I am about ready to uninstall and then reinstal 7.5 for the time being until I can find a way to solve this because right now emc9 is tying my hands so that the only way I can only do video right now is in windows movie maker and I am not willing to go there. The problem is I want to fix this and its probably better to leave things alone for now. I did open a web ticket on this issue on Wednesday but have had no response from the techs. Any ideas would be a great help. The problem seems to be with any program that needs media manager to look at or choose files as videowave does.
