I have a new build.
Windows XP and Zone alarm, with Avast virus software.
Ater installing EMC 7 it will not run.
Error message, "has encountered a problem and needs to close" sort of thing.
Is there some known incompatibility with some software I may have?
Any help to get his installed.?

Uninstall it, and reinstall it without have ZA or Avast on.  ZA caused problems when this software came out.

With what program did you get the error?

Also, have you installed IE 7? If so uninstall it, as it will cause EMC 7 not to work correctly.

We've also had reports of problems with WinPlayer 11 - the solution to which is roll back to WinPlayer 10.
