installing directx

hi gang

everytime i try to install directx its never listed in my control panel.how do i install successfully??

DirectX does not show up in Add/Remove Apps. To install, just download the dxwebsetup.exe and then double click on that file. It will download only the parts that you need.

DirectX won't show up in your control panel. If you run the installer for it and don't get an error, then it's installed. Your can check your version by going to the start button, select run and then typing dxdiag and OK.
