Just recently, mydvd told me that it needed to update. Since this update I've been getting the constant error when I try to burn a dvd I keep getting an error that says missing decoder. How do I fix this?

What version of MyDVD do you have? You can check by going to Help -> About.
I can't think of an update that would cause this sort of problem. Are you using new files? Missing decoder errors usually indicate one of three possibilities; 1) the decoder used to decode the video is not on the system, you'll have to figure out how the video is encoded and download the appropriate decoder. 2) The file you're using is an unsupported file type or is damaged and cannot be used until reencoded. 3) You're having some sort of conflict with other decoders installed by other software.
