I cannot burn DVDs with Roxio Creator DE. This is the version preinstalled with my new Dell XPS with Vista.
When I select "Burn" in either MyDVD or MyDVD Express I get an error.
In MyDVD Express, I get an error saying RoxWizardLauncherModule has stopped working.
In MyDVD, it gets to the BurnProject Screen, but that Vista "busy" circle spins for a long time, then dies with a VideoWave9 has stopped working.
In either case, I never get the chance to select whether to burn to DVD or disk image. (I do get a warning that the mpeg audio might be incompatible with some players, but I say burn anyway. I wouldn't think this could be a factor).
Trying to Burn to DVD+R (single layer, not DL) and Fit to Disk is selected and there appears to be enough space.

Hi There, I too bought a dell computer and roxio was preinstalled and I can't burn DVD's with it either. Mine will open and load but when I try to add avi files to the Burn Project Screen it won`t let me, any suggestions.

If you have the OEM version of Roxio, you'll most likely have to contact Dell for support.
