I have Creator Classic set to verify after copying by default. It works fine, except when the disc is so full that CC makes it read only. In that case you get a "disc mount failure" at the start of the verify process. I've tried it half a dozen times and was able to recreate the error consistently.
I'm using version 8 build 805B30B ENU.

I hope that is clear to you because I am not sure what you are try to say…
All files on optical media are Read Only. If you are trying to create Sessions you have to take into account that sessions require overhead! 13mb to 15mb for the first session and about 10mb for every session added from there on. I leave about 100mb to close.
