When opening EMC9, after deleting and re-installing the software on Windows Vista, I receive a Buffer Overrun Detected Message followed by a Runtime Error Message, and then EMC9 goes down.

This does not happen when sub-programs are opened.

Are there any patches or fixes for this condition?

If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
