It takes almost 8 minutes to launch Roxio 9 Suite on my computer (Dell 8250, Windows XP, 2,8 GHz Pentium 4, 512 MB RAM). I have noticed that during that time Roxio Creator 33.exe utilizes 100% of CPU. How to fix it? The only program that is active on my computer is McAfee Security. I have Drag-in shortcut and Roxio Media Creator 9 shortcut displayed on the screen after powering up my computer.

The computer also is very slow when I hit File, Tool, Help in the Home window menu and hang out when I try to exit the software. I have to use Window Task Monitor to close it. The "Program is not respoding" message is displayed with the error message send to Windows before the software is shut down.

Disable all Roxio startup items through msconfig.
