I have tried to install this version of ECM 9 4 times on my Vista machine, but each time it causes my machine to go into a boot loop. The install seemed to go okay, but as soon as I tried to reboot the computer, loop de loop, de loop, de loop. It's a pain to uninstall unless you insert the Windows install disc to repair, so you can finall uninstall Roxio. I thought Roxio said this version works on Vista machines???

It does seem to work for some (me) and others but it certainly appears that it's suspect. If you can hold out, we're all hoping an update may be available that fixes some problems but then again, I may just be hoping for one.

My EMC9 on a new computer with preinstalled Vista home premium 32 bit does not have deloop problems but there is no Mode Selection Buttons shown on Disk Copy Windows, consequently I can only copy disks but CAN NOT CONVERT FILES using disk copy windows. Tried to reinstal several times, my EMC9 on Vista is still partially handicapped. Who says EMC9 is compartable with Vista?

I have EMC 9, and I have no problems. I don't run Vista. Is your burner updated to the latest firmware? Do you have a DVD burner?
