Hello,

I'm using Version 3.06 RE carbon of Discus RE to create covers for CD's burnt [mostly - and it's a key 'mostly'!] in Toast Titanium version 7.1.2

I have been successfully importing playlists into Discus RE from iTunes' export function... File -> Export -> [as .txt, Unicode .txt or an .xml file] but [and this is my problem] Discus no longer allows me to import iTunes exported playlists, regardless of whether they are .txt, Unicode .txt, or .xml files.

I suspect that a recent upgrade to iTunes 7.1.1 [5] might be responsible for this change of behaviour.

I am aware that I can also import track info into Discus RE from the current Toast playlist, but that corrupts important Artist information [the Artist column is numeric rather than a string].

This is extremely frustrating!

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I can't use iTunes basic cover printing functionality because most of my CD's have 35+ tracks on them, and iTunes only prints up to 23, then tells you that there are x more on the playlist!

Thank you for your time.

I don't expect there will be any further update to Discus 3 RE because Magic Mouse has just shipped Discus 4 and Roxio is not including Discus with Toast 8.

I tested the importing of iTunes playlist export into Discus 4 and it worked with plain text but not unicode text. It also worked as an XML export that is imported using the tab delimited option in Discus. I don't have Discus 3 on the Mac any more.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
