I have had Pro HD installed on my XP machine and was working with a new project (our first one with Roxio). Now when I start the program it crashes with the apparently famous C++ runtime error "R6025 pure virtual function call". I have seen it referenced all over this company's forums and others.

My installation is version 6.3. I have a new XP machine with Intel Core2 Duo, and one 1 dual layer drive.

I have tried the xblock.dll fix - including deleting my newer dll and installing the older one. I have thrown out all experimental versions of this project that I was using to get up to speed.

This software seems to do what we need with menus. What do I try now to get it working again?

Yes I first tried a "repair" in "Add/Remove Programs"-no change - then uninstalled and reinstalled - no change. Is there any setting that might have persisted? I did not see an uninstall program.

if it is a pure virtual error, you need to do a clean uninstall of the program and then reinstall. go to google and look up "clean install DVDit 5" and the first link that shows up that shows "Servicewise" should tell you how to go about cleaning up your system

Hi Scott, I have followed the proceedure and installed the latest beta, but I still get the runtime error when I drag the media onto the title. Importing is ok. My files are complient, because when I use my other installation I have no trouble.

There must be a software conflict, but short of uninstalling everything, how do I find it?
