Firstly, I am new to Roxio Media Suite 9, and I'm somewhat computer illiterate. So forgive the stupid question. I am making a Windows Power Point presentation. I have filmed an interview that I imported into Roxio Media Suite 9 and edited it to the desired length. I now want to use my edited video in my Power Point Presentation, but it appears that Power Point will not allow the clip to be used in the standard format. I assume I need to save the clip in a different format that is compatible with power point. Can anyone tell me how best to do this? Also, is there an easier or quicker way if you want to edit down a single interview and use it in power point, rather than making it a full production? I would appreciate the suggestions and help!
Help needed with Usage of Roxio Movie in Power Point

Which application in EMC 9 did you use? I assume VideoWave or MyDVD? Did you just save it as a project, or did you export it in a suitable format? Obviously (?) Videowave or MyDVD projects can only be opened by those apps. The files created when you save a project are not in themselves video clips, but files that tell Videowave what the source file is and what editing has been done to it.
If it is a Videowave project, open it in Videowave, click on the 'output as' icon at the top of Videowave window, (circle with 4 small circles in it) select a suitable format (e.g.mpeg-II) give the file a name, click create video file.
According to PowerPoint help (search for Video format), it should accept the movie clip in most formats. If it plays in Windows Media player, it should be OK in PowerPoint. If you created a video file from videowave and it does not play in WMP, you should get an error message in WMP which may tell you if you are missing a codec.
