Every time I try something new with EMC9 I run into a new problem. I have a bunch of DV tapes I want to put on DVD to facilitate viewing on the TV.Used Plug & Burn in EMC7 with no problem. Tried 3 x with V9 with hang ups at various points.Needed to force shutdown to get out. Decided to capture , send to MY DVD, burn iso file, then burn using Disc Copier.Works as expected. Is the problem Roxio, or my system? I do meet specs. called for.

Also, I just tried Erase Disc function on a DVD+RW.Chose slower metod option. Timer said ~ 30 min. Countdown progressed to 0 and kept going.I waited another 30 min. "program running". Of course thereis no cancel option. Finally got to quit using esc. Go figure .Any answers?

The way you did it that works, is the best way to do it. I have not seen anyone post a success story with plug and burn. It is too dependent on a "perfect" environment, to work properly.
