Hi
I am new to this forum but need some help on Installing Easy Media Creator 9. I installed it once and had to unstall it. I had some issues with my computer from other software. Also is the Windows Install Clean Up safe to use and not mess up nothing else on your computer. I have done deleted all the items that you all at listed to delete. Was just wondering about the Windows Install Clean Up by Microsoft that you spoke about.
Also when you install this program it mentioned something in the book about typing in( d:\setup) does it not automatically install once you insert the CD.
Thanks so much all help is apprecciated. smile.gif

The Cleanup Utility is perfectly safe - it just cleans redundant registry entries that the windows installer left behind at uninstall (you could say that MS is cleaning up its own act I suppose laugh.gif )

The 'D:\Setup' command is in case the CD doesn't autorun when you insert it, in which case, you go to your CD/DVD drive, open it and double click on setup.exe to manually start the installation
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

I have another question. I installed the Windows Install Clean Up it didn't show nothing on Roxio or Sonic. But if I do a search it shows Roxio in the windows installer. Is that strange?
Another question. When I click on the Roxio Icon on my desktop it comes up but the square that comes up won't let you see all of it. The left pane is almost completly hidden. I tried the display settings but that didn't help. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

That sounds like a problem with the video card. Update your card to the latest drivers. List your system specs, similar to how I have them listed in my signature.

Go to the website of your card manufacturer.

This also might help http://oddlabs.com/driversupport.php?r=o

Video card.Go to your My Computer icon and right click on it.Go to Properties and click.Click on the Hardware tab.Click on Device Manager.Hit the + sign next to Display Adapter. This should show you the adapter manufacturer and type. Then go to their website and download and install the latest video drivers you can find for the card you have.

Your not paying attention to what your being told.

I gave you a site to go too in my earlier post, READ IT, it gives you instructions.

And of course it is for the video card, as that is what you asked for.

You have to UPDATE it.

May I ask a question without being scolded?
If it says it is working properly do I still need to do an update. I know the reply said video card but was just asking to be sure.

Yes you do - think of it as having an oil change for a car - you need newer drivers instead of the old ones
