Hi all.

Is there anyone out there from Roxio? I posted a query to the online service system about the problem I am having with EMC 9 (see the thread "Is it always this sloooow?" I got a very quick response with the boiler plate check this and check that - stuff you guys on this discussion group already suggested - which is what I expected to get. When I responded back that I had tried all of these things with no improvement the ticket was re-opened and I got an email acknowleging such. 5 days have passed with NO response. The ticket number is 342051 if anyone from Roxio is out there.

Luckily I am a patient person but there are limits.

From time to time Roxio guys visit these forums but it's a user to user forum so don't expect any word from Roxio unless someone from Roxio comes here to visit on their own time.

Well, if they don't come here and they don't answer their email support request and I don't want to pay them $35, how do I get any response from them? Maybe I should be asking how do I get the serial number released so I can sell this thing on ebay?

Thanks,
Leo

They should answer email support but it's probably not very quickly (as your topic suggests). Hopefully you'll get a positive answer on this forum.

I've been trying t get an answer since January 28! You have to rely on other users, because Roxio doesn't care about you other than taking your money.

Of course they care and I'm sure they'd want to have no problems. If they didn't care, they wouldn't have stayed in business so long.

A passing thought - check your spam filters. It's not unknown for e-mails from a commercial company to wind up being flagged as spam (even if you ARE waiting for it)
