When I try to edit a movie with MyDVD9 I get the error message:
Could not dreate render object. This might be caused by DirectX9.0 not being installed or the dis[ply adapter not fully supporting DiredtX9.0. How can I find out wht the problem is. I just installed EMC9 and my computer is e fiew weeks old. HP6400 media center?
Any help is appreciated.

What video card do you have, and have you updated to the Feb 2007 version of DirectX?

You need to get the Vista update driver for your video card. You can get it here, but I don't know if it will do any good.

Personally, I am waiting at least a year to install Vista.

Actually, the problem is with your video chip. If your computer has an AGP slot or PCIe slot, I would upgrade to a dedicated video card. That should solve the rendering problem.

I would go with an ATI card. I have an NVidia card in this computer, and it doesn't always get along with EMC 9.

I purchased a MSI Gforce NX7300GT. The graphic is brillant, but it did not sove my problem.
The problem occurs with VideoWave9.0, When I open Video Wave through EMC9, a error wbindow opens but
no message appears. The Video Wave just stops working.
Any idea?
Thank you
