I have used EMC 6............For a short time and decided to upgrade to EMC 9 because 6 wouldn't let me import from DVD,s With AC3 sound ( Dolby , I think ! )   Now, when I try to capture from  my DV camcorder,   it stops capturing at about 1 minute.   Just reinstalled 6 today and sure enough,  it has no problem capturing from my DV ( canon ) camera.   My computer is somewhat lacking in all that  it's supposed to have.   Yes , it's slow but I don't care about that.   Celeron processor 2.4...............       What I don't understand is why I can capture easily and without problems with EMC6 and I can't with EMC9 !    WHY !????????   Thanks !

The problem has not been identified yet. We have seen several reports with certain Canon Camcorders. As far as I know, there is no solution for this to work in EMC.  You can, however, capture using WinDV, a free shareware app or capture in Windows Movie Maker and 'save to this computer' as DV AVI.  In both cases, you will be able to use the file in Videowave or MyDVD 9.

Thanks for the help !   I'll try that or just use 6 when I want to capture.  Right now I have both 6 &  9on my computer and they both seem to work as well as they did .   Thanks again !
