have had new dell computer 6 wks now bought c-9 and uninstalled trial version and installed new 9, had a few issues evryone else had just about got them resolved, now having volume control problems, have tried all that i can think of and stiil have the same problem, when playing a store bought dvd can not get the sound past 7%, it will go down to 0 and back to 7 and that is it, could it also be a vista issue

Check the windows speaker icon adjust audio properties down by the clock, and in control panel.
