Hi,

I am trying to burn the Nexxtech DVD with the Sonic MY DVD LE V7. I am trying to copy my data to the Nexxtech DVD, but I am getting the following errors

"There was a problem writing to the Disc".

Sense: 05 ASC: 27 ASCQ: 00 (Command 2A)
-------------------------------------------------------
Px.dll: 2.2.45.500
pxdrv.dll: 1.1.40.0
PxMas.dll: 2.2.45.500
PxSFS.DLL: 2.2.45.500
PxWave.dll: 2.2.45.500
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3

I tried almost all the DVDs present in the pack but all of them gave the same error.

I tried to burn my CD (TDK) it worked perfectly fine. Is it a problem with the DVD.
Can anyone help me in knowing what the problem be ?

Thanks and Regards
Ram.

Try another brand of disc, if it still fails then I would replace the DVD burner.

Or it could just be the pxengine is in need of updating or is corrupt. You could try downloading and running this pxengine update that can be found in this KB article:

Also, when you buy your next pack of DVDs, you should check out http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters for a list list of experiences by other users using different types of media. Media has different levels of sccuess on different drives so its always good to see what other people use with your drive first
